The VIFLY GPS-Mate is an innovative accessory for FPV and multirotor drones, designed to significantly reduce GPS satellite acquisition time while improving the chances of recovering a drone after a crash or emergency landing. One of the module’s most valuable features is its ability to warm up the GPS receiver without powering the entire drone. Using the dedicated power button, you can activate the GPS module before switching on the rest of the aircraft, allowing satellite acquisition to begin while you complete your pre-flight preparations. The VIFLY GPS-Mate is compatible with most popular GPS modules and supports both 3.3 V and 5 V output voltages. It operates with an input voltage range of 4.5 to 8.4 volts, making it suitable for 2S LiPo power systems. Thanks to its compact design, the module is easy to install on a wide variety of FPV drones, including freestyle, long-range, cinematic, and cinewhoop platforms.

Weighing only approximately 8 grams and measuring around 23 × 23 × 8 mm, the module adds virtually no noticeable weight while maintaining excellent flight performance. Its integrated buzzer produces an alarm of up to 105 dB, making it clearly audible even from a considerable distance and greatly improving the chances of recovering a lost drone.
