Axagon Cable 240W USB-C USB-C 3.0m is a charging and data transfer cable with USB-C connectors at both ends. With up to 240 W charging power, Power Delivery 3.1 support and a 3-metre length, it is a practical choice for connecting laptops, smartphones, tablets, power banks and other compatible USB-C devices. Power Delivery 3.1 and up to 240 W charging power
Axagon cable supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 charging technology, allowing it to deliver up to 240 W at 48 V and 5 A when used with a compatible charger and device. This makes it suitable for both mobile devices with lower power requirements and laptops that need higher charging power.
It supports Power Delivery Standard Power Range (SPR) up to 100 W and Extended Power Range (EPR) up to 240 W. Compatibility with Power Delivery 2.0 and 3.0 also allows it to work with earlier USB-C chargers. Actual charging power always depends on the capabilities of the connected device and charger.
An integrated E-Mark chip provides compatible devices with information about the cable’s specifications and supported charging capacity. This allows the charging system to account for its power limits and select an appropriate charging mode.
Broad compatibility with fast charging technologies
Alongside Power Delivery, Axagon cable supports several common fast charging technologies, including Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, 3.0 and 4+, PPS, Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging and Samsung Super Fast Charging. It also supports fast charging for compatible Apple devices.
This compatibility makes it a convenient accessory for users with devices from different manufacturers. To use fast charging, both the charger and the device being charged must support the relevant charging technology.
Data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbit/s
In addition to charging, Axagon cable supports data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbit/s using the USB 2.0 standard. It is suitable for copying photos, documents and other files between a phone and computer, or for synchronising devices. Charging and data transfer can take place simultaneously.
The 3.0 m designation refers to the cable’s physical length; its data transfer standard is USB 2.0. This model is therefore primarily designed for high-power charging and synchronisation.
Durable nylon braiding and reinforced connectors
Flexible TPE insulation is covered with nylon braiding to help protect against abrasion and everyday wear. Aluminium connector housings improve mechanical durability, while reinforced strain relief helps reduce stress caused by sharp bending. According to the manufacturer, the cable withstands more than 8,000 standard bends.
Nickel-plated connectors and gold-plated contacts help reduce oxidation and maintain a reliable connection. With an outer diameter of 4.6 mm, the cable combines robust construction with flexibility for everyday handling.
Quality conductors and shielding
Axagon cable uses tinned oxygen-free copper conductors, with 22 AWG power wires and 30 AWG data wires. Power conductors with a larger cross-sectional area help reduce electrical resistance, which is particularly relevant for longer cables and higher charging currents.
Double shielding helps reduce the effects of external electromagnetic interference on data transmission. This three-metre black cable is a practical addition to an everyday charging setup, and the included fastening strap keeps it neatly bundled for storage or transport.
