BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II Frame – Lightweight and Durable 80 mm Whoop Frame

BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II Frame is a micro drone frame designed for 45 mm propellers, combining low weight, an aerodynamic design, and straightforward component installation. It is suitable for replacing the original Meteor75 Pro II frame or building an FPV drone using compatible components.

Lightweight Construction and Improved Propeller Guards

Made from polypropylene, this frame weighs 5.8 grams, approximately 25% less than the previous Meteor75 Pro frame, which weighed 7.73 grams. Lower mass helps reduce overall drone weight and supports a quick response to control inputs. Its impact-resistant construction is suitable for everyday flying and practice.

The number of frame braces has been reduced from six to five, while the curved shape of the propeller guards has been refined to reduce air resistance. The guard rings measure 47 mm in diameter and 4.8 mm in height. BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II Frame has an 80 mm wheelbase and overall dimensions of 108.5 × 108.5 × 16.2 mm.

Practical Mounting Dimensions

Flight controller mounting holes are spaced 26 × 26 mm apart. Each motor mount features three M1.4 screw holes arranged on a 6.6 mm diameter circle, and this frame requires M1.4 × 3 mm motor screws. The battery slot measures 16.1 × 6.3 mm. These specifications allow you to check the physical fit of your electronics, motors, and battery before assembly.

Canopy II Compatibility and Camera Vibration Damping

BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II Frame is compatible with the Canopy II for O4 Air Unit camera cover, whose mounting system uses four vibration dampers to help reduce vibration transmitted from the frame to the camera. This supports more stable footage and reduces the likelihood of vibration-induced distortion, commonly known as the jello effect.

Sold separately, Canopy II accommodates DJI O4 and O4 Wide cameras and allows camera tilt adjustment from 15° to 35°. This lets you adapt the camera position to your flying style and preferred viewing angle. A four-screw camera mount helps maintain the selected position during faster manoeuvres.

The removable Canopy II design simplifies access to the camera and its mounts. However, vibration damping performance depends on the condition of the entire drone: propellers, motors, and mounts must also be in good condition to achieve smooth footage.

Compatible Motors and Components

Compatible options include BetaFPV 1102 Brushless Motors (2026), developed specifically for Meteor75 Pro II. Their 21,000 KV rating, 1S operating voltage, and 1.5 mm shaft are suited to a lightweight whoop drone propulsion system. The manufacturer recommends pairing them with Gemfan 1811 or Gemfan 45 mm three-blade propellers.

For this component combination, the manufacturer also recommends Matrix 1S 3IN1/4IN1, Matrix 1S 5IN1 II, and Matrix 1S 5IN1 flight controllers, along with LAVA II 1S batteries in 480, 580, and 680 mAh capacities. When selecting components, consider electrical compatibility, connections, and overall drone weight as well as mounting dimensions.

Frame Replacement and Package Contents

A spare frame allows you to replace a damaged structure while reusing components that are still in working order. Before transferring components, check the wiring, motor mounts, and clearance for unobstructed propeller rotation.
