RadioMaster TX12
is a well-designed and powerful radio that combines compact design, state-of-the-art technology and open source software, making it an attractive choice for beginners and advanced radio-controlled drone and RC model enthusiasts alike. This model supports the ExpressLRS (ELRS) 2.4 GHz radio system, which ensures a strong signal and low delay on the sides – an important advantage for extended flight and precise control.
The case measures approximately 170 × 159 × 108 mm and weighs around 363 g, leaving the remote light enough to hold comfortably for extended periods of time, while being rigid and durable enough for everyday outdoor use. The heart of the remote is equipped with a powerful STM32F4 series processor, which ensures a smooth and responsive user experience and enables fast processing and management of firmware functions.
The remote is equipped with EdgeTX firmware, an open-source and constantly evolving software platform that allows the user to tune the device according to their preferences and needs. This software supports a wide range of features and is constantly being improved, giving the user flexibility and the possibility to benefit from the latest innovations.
The handlebars, or gimbals, are equipped with Hall sensors that provide precise and smooth control – especially important for precision manoeuvres and complex systems. Their high quality construction and ergonomic positioning ensure a smooth handling both for recreational flying and during more intensive sessions.
The console uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band, a standard and widely supported frequency band for many RC models, and can control up to 16 channels, depending on the receiver and configuration. The radio has a clear 128 × 64 mono screen that displays important flight and setup information, allowing the user to quickly view and change settings.
In addition, the Radiomaster TX12 is equipped with USB-C charging and QC 3.0 fast charging, making battery charging easy and convenient without the need for a separate charger. The remote also comes with an SD card, allowing you to add and manage files and updates easily and efficiently.
