The DJI Mic 3 is compact, light, and discreet. It can be attached with either a magnet or a clip. The removable and rotatable clip allows you to flexibly adjust the microphone angle – sideways or upside down – for the perfect audio recording in any situation.

Endless Possibilities
Up to four transmitters can be connected to the DJI Mic 3 receiver to record four audio sources simultaneously. The main receiver can sync audio from up to seven additional receivers. Four-channel output, easier post-production
In Quadraphonic mode, the DJI Mic 3 receiver – with select Sony cameras or software – can output four separate audio tracks. This allows for more precise audio separation and mixing, giving you more freedom in post-production.
Dual frequencies ensure reliability
DJI Mic 3 automatically switches between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and provides a range of up to 400 meters. Strong noise immunity keeps the sound stable even in challenging environments, such as at trade shows.
Lossless Transmission, Pure Sound
In lossless audio mode, the transmitter transmits uncompressed 48 kHz 24-bit audio directly to the receiver. Every recording is captured in detail and high quality.
Built-in Recording
Don’t worry about lost audio – internal recording protects your recording in the event of interference or device failure. Dual-file recording simultaneously stores both the original audio and the algorithm-processed version, ensuring a smooth workflow and unhindered creative process.
32-bit float internal recording
DJI Mic 3 supports 32-bit float recording, which provides a wide dynamic range. It captures everything from barely audible whispers to loud sounds, making recordings reliable even in unpredictable environments and providing more flexibility in post-processing.
Built-in timecode for precise synchronization
DJI Mic 3 supports high-precision timecode – the transmitter adds timecode directly to the recording, and the receiver allows both input and output. Less than one frame shift in 24 hours means you can align multiple cameras in an instant and edit faster.
Easy file export
After shooting, connect the charging case and USB-C cable to your computer or phone – all internal recordings will be transferred at once. You can also download files via the DJI Mimo app, choosing the method that suits you best.
Instant connection

Long Battery Life
The transmitter can operate for up to 8 hours, the receiver for up to 10 hours. A fully charged charging case is sold separately and it provides approximately 2.4 additional charges – for a total of up to 28 hours of operation. Ideal for long shooting days and live broadcasts.
5-Minute Quick Charge
Just 5 minutes of charging gives you up to 2 hours of use. 3C quick charge allows you to fully charge the entire set in approximately 50 minutes – so you can get back to work quickly.
Smart Power Saving
- Automatic Power Saving: If the transmitter does not detect a signal from the receiver, it will enter sleep mode and wake up again when it detects a connection.
- Automatic Power Off: Set the transmitter and receiver to turn off after a certain period of time on the receiver or in the DJI Mimo app. This saves battery life and extends the operating time.
- Auto Power On with Camera: When enabled, the receiver will power on/off with the camera when connected via a 3.5mm cable or hot shoe.
- Use while charging: When connected via a phone, the receiver will draw power directly from the device. When connected to an additional power source via USB-C, it will charge both the receiver and the phone at the same time – no interruption in operation.
