DJI AIR 3 – Dual main camera system
The DJI Air 3 is the first release in the Air series to feature a dual main camera system packed into a sleek and compact body, along with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x telephoto camera. Both cameras have the same sensor size, but different focal lengths for consistent image quality and more dynamic shooting.

48 megapixel photos
Both the wide-angle and telephoto cameras are capable of capturing 48MP photos with true-to-life detail, allowing for smooth cropping in post-processing for those who need it.
4K/60fps HDR video
The Air 3’s two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors support double ISO for uncropped 4K/60 frames per second HDR video. This means that shots from either camera are full of rich colours and natural light transitions for breathtaking, high-definition results.

Both cameras also support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour profiles. The 10-bit D-Log M profile helps preserve more highlight and shadow detail for greater editing flexibility. The 10-bit HLG profile offers greater dynamic range, achieving excellent results without colour adjustment in post-processing.
Longer flight, innovative charging
Air 3 offers up to 46 minutes of flight time, 48% more than the previous generation. This gives you plenty of time per flight to explore, adjust compositions and take the shots you want.
The new battery charging hub supports an innovative power transfer function. Simply press and hold the function button to transfer the remaining power of multiple batteries to the highest capacity battery, giving you a full charge in situations where charging is limited.
Obstacle detection in all directions
A multi-directional obstacle avoidance system enables environmental awareness from all sides, allowing Air 3 to detect obstacles in all directions. When detecting obstacles, the Air 3 can use APAS 5.0 to perform smoother avoidance manoeuvres to ensure an overall safer flight experience. Even complete beginners can now fly with confidence and execute creative ideas with enhanced safety.
DJI O4 Video transfer
The next-generation DJI O4 video transmission system gives Air 3 significantly improved transmission performance. It delivers a 20 km video range with maximum stability and 1080p/60 frames per second live transmission at maximum quality for ultra-high-performance real-time image transmission.
Improved RTH (return to home)
During Smart RTH, Air 3 automatically plans an optimised flight route for advanced RTH, while maintaining omni-directional obstacle detection to return quickly and safely to your home point.
Unstressed excellence
FocusTrack
FocusTrack easily keeps you or your subject in the centre of the frame. The 3x telephoto camera reveals a unique sense of spatial compression when highlighting objects. This updated tracking performance, combined with multi-directional obstacle detection, lets you take intelligent, well-planned shots whenever and wherever you need them.

QuickShots
QuickShots enhances Air 3 with creative camera movement options such as Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Boomerang and Asteroid.
2.7K vertical recording
Air 3 supports 2.7K vertical recording with both cameras, leaving vertical shots dynamic when capturing landscapes or objects. The 2.7K vertical output directly from the 4:3 CMOS provides smartphone-optimised clips ready for sharing on social media without the need to crop the post.
MasterShots
MasterShots allows Air 3 to automatically perform a variety of camera movements, capture multiple clips and edit them with music, cuts and effects for fast, streamlined footage.

EEZ
Thanks to an advanced noise reduction algorithm, Air 3 can capture noise-free footage at speeds of up to 4K/30 frames per second in low light or at night.
Hyperlapse
Choose from four options including Free, Circle, Course Lock and Waypoint to capture timelapse shots up to 4K horizontally or 2.7K vertically.
Slow motion
To record 4x slow-motion video directly, select 4K/100fps or 1080p/100fps.
SmartPhoto 3.0
In single-shot mode, Air 3 uses the default SmartPhoto 3.0 app, which can automatically select between HDR, HyperSnap and Scene Recognition, depending on the scenario, for better shooting results. In the HDR DNG format, the camera can record a wider dynamic range with built-in contrast enhancement. The image file can be post-processed to JPG quality, reducing the difficulty of post-production.
Quicktransfer
Quickly upload photos and videos from your drone to your smartphone via a wireless connection, saving time and effort.
LightCut app
Wirelessly connect your Air 3 to your smartphone via the LightCut app for more creative options, like one-touch editing. There’s no need to download all the footage during the process, which helps save storage space on your mobile device.
Advanced shooting
Waypoint
For the first time, the waypoint feature is now available in the Air range. Pre-plan Air 3 flight paths and shooting actions for sophisticated camera moves and amazing one-takes. You can also record flight itineraries to repeat the same movement at a precise later time or date, opening the door to long timelapse shots that capture transitions, such as from day to night or from season to season.
