DJI Mic 3 Transmitter
Small, lightweight, versatile
DJI Mic 3 transmitter is compact, lightweight and discreet. It can be attached with either a magnet or a clip. Removable and rotatable clamp allows the microphone angle to be flexibly adjusted – sideways or upside down – to ensure the perfect sound recording in any situation.

Two frequencies ensure reliability
DJI Mic 3 transmitter automatically jumps between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and provides up to 400 metres of range. Robust noise immunity keeps the sound stable even in challenging environments such as trade shows.
Lossless transmission, clean sound
In lossless mode, transmitter transmits uncompressed 48 kHz 24-bit sound directly to the receiver. Every recording is captured in rich detail and high quality.
Built-in recording
Don’t worry about lost audio – built-in recording protects your recording in case of interference or equipment failure. Two-file recording keeps both the original sound and the algorithm-processed version at the same time for a smooth workflow and a seamless creative process.
32-bit float internal recording
DJI Mic 3 supports 32-bit float recording, which provides a wide dynamic range. It captures both faint whispers and loud sounds, making recording reliable in unpredictable environments and offering more flexibility in post-processing.
Built-in timecode for precise synchronisation
DJI Mic 3 transmitter supports high-precision timecodes – Transmitter adds the timecode directly to the recording and the receiver allows both input and output. Less than one frame shift in a 24-hour period means you can align multiple cameras in an instant, and your editing goes faster.

Instant connection
- DJI OsmoAudio direct connection: transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 cameras without the need for a receiver. This simplifies the workflow and ensures top-quality audio.
- Bluetooth connection to your phone: no receiver needed – transmitter connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth for convenient use with third-party recording or streaming apps. With the DJI Mimo app, you can adjust settings and update firmware – all in one place, quickly and easily.
Long battery life
Transmitter works for up to 8 hours. Separately sold charging case provides approximately 2.4 additional charges – for a total of up to 28 hours of battery life. Ideal for long shooting days and live broadcasts.
Smart energy saving
- Automatic power saving: if the transmitter does not detect a signal from the receiver, it goes into sleep mode and wakes up again when a connection is detected.
- Auto power off: set the receiver or DJI Mimo app to turn off transmitter and receiver after a certain time. This saves battery power and extends battery life.
