DJI Osmo Action Adhesive Base Kit is a durable mounting kit that allows a compatible DJI action camera to be securely attached to a flat surface. Strong flat adhesive base
Included Osmo Flat Adhesive Base features a large-diameter, flat mounting surface. 3M mounting tape on its underside covers a wide area, helping distribute the load more evenly and create a strong bond with a suitable surface. This design allows camera to be attached to various types of sports equipment, vehicle components, or other smooth and flat surfaces.
Adhesive base measures 59.7 mm in diameter and 29.33 mm in height and weighs 20.7 grams. Its relatively wide design provides a stable mounting point for camera without adding unnecessary weight. Mount is well suited to situations where using a strap, clamp, or suction cup mount is either impossible or impractical.
It is important to note that flat adhesive base is not intended for curved surfaces. A smooth, clean, and even mounting location should be selected to ensure that the entire adhesive surface makes proper contact with the mounting surface.
Reinforced quick-release adapter mount
DJI Osmo Action Adhesive Base Kit includes an Osmo Action Quick-Release Adapter Mount with an additional positioning clip. This enhancement improves impact resistance and helps keep camera securely in the correct position during high-intensity activities.
Quick-release adapter allows camera to be attached to the base quickly and removed after filming. This is particularly convenient when the same camera is used with several mounts or from different angles throughout the day. Adapter measures 40.2 × 21 × 34.2 mm and weighs 16 grams, creating a compact connection between camera and adhesive base.
Kit also includes an Osmo Locking Screw for securing the mount. Screw measures 55.6 × 23 × 13.3 mm and weighs 11.2 grams. It allows adapter to be securely fastened to the base and camera position to be adjusted when required.

DJI Osmo Action Adhesive Base Kit is compatible with DJI Osmo 360, DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo Action 4, and DJI Osmo Action 3 cameras. Kit can also be used with Osmo Nano, but connecting this model requires the separately available Osmo Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount.
Compatibility with several DJI cameras makes it possible to use the same adhesive base with different devices. This is practical for users who upgrade their camera over time or use several DJI cameras in different situations.
Correct installation ensures a strong bond
Reliability of the adhesive base depends largely on surface preparation and installation. Before attaching it, make sure the selected surface is clean, dry, smooth, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. Base should not be installed on curved, porous, or uneven surfaces, as the entire adhesive area may not form a sufficiently strong bond.
Recommended installation temperature for flat adhesive base is between –10 and 40 °C. After positioning the base, manufacturer recommends pressing it firmly against the surface for approximately ten seconds. Before attaching camera and using the mount, wait at least 30 minutes to allow the adhesive to bond properly.
Before each use, check that base, adapter, and locking screw are undamaged and securely connected. Product should not be thrown, struck, or crushed, as mechanical damage may reduce reliability of the mount.
