DJI Pocket 3 Standard Combo – A Stabilized Pocket Camera for Vlogs and Travel
DJI Pocket 3 Standard Combo combines DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with essential everyday accessories. It suits content creators, travellers and video enthusiasts who want to shoot handheld, frame footage on a built-in screen and move between locations with compact equipment. The camera weighs 179 g and measures 139.7 × 42.2 × 33.5 mm.
1-Inch Sensor and Flexible Recording Modes
A 1-inch CMOS sensor is paired with an f/2.0 lens offering a 20 mm full-frame-equivalent focal length. Its wide-angle view suits both filming yourself and showing your surroundings. Focusing starts at 0.2 m, an important consideration when planning close-ups or filming small objects.
Standard video reaches 3840 × 2160 pixels at up to 60fps. Slow Motion mode records 4K at 120fps or Full HD at up to 240fps, allowing fast movement to be shown more slowly. For vertical content, 9:16 recording is available at up to 3K, 1728 × 3072 pixels and 60fps. A dedicated Low-Light mode supports recording at up to 4K/30fps.
10-bit D-Log M and HLG provide options for different post-production workflows. D-Log M suits colour grading, while HLG supports compatible HDR workflows. Timelapse, Motionlapse and Hyperlapse offer additional ways to capture scenes that change over time.
Mechanical Stabilization and Subject Tracking
A three-axis mechanical gimbal helps reduce camera rotation caused by hand movements. ActiveTrack 6.0 assists with keeping a subject in frame, including automatic face detection and maintaining a chosen framing position. Double-tap a subject on the screen to start tracking. ActiveTrack is unavailable in Low-Light, Panorama, Slow Motion and Timelapse modes.
Alongside fast autofocus, the camera offers continuous focusing and Product Showcase mode, which prioritizes objects in the foreground. This is useful when presenting a product to camera.
Rotatable Screen and Audio Recording
A 2-inch OLED touchscreen provides access to shooting settings and lets you switch between horizontal and vertical framing before recording begins. Three built-in microphones capture stereo audio. The camera also supports direct connection to up to two DJI Mic 2 or DJI Mic Mini transmitters without a separate receiver; transmitters are not included in Standard Combo.
Battery Life and Fast Charging
The built-in 1300 mAh battery provides up to 166 minutes of operating time under DJI test conditions. This figure was measured at 25 °C while recording 1080p/24fps with both Wi-Fi and the screen switched off. Actual runtime depends on recording mode and operating conditions. In laboratory testing with a DJI 65 W PD charger, charging reached 80% in 16 minutes and 100% in 32 minutes. A power adapter is sold separately.
Included Accessories and Requirements
Standard Combo contains the camera, a USB-C to USB-C PD cable, protective cover, wrist strap and handle with a 1/4″ thread. The handle extends the grip and provides a mounting point for a compatible tripod. A mini tripod, battery handle, wide-angle lens and wireless microphone are not included in this package.
Recording requires a separately purchased microSD card: there is no built-in storage, and cards up to 1 TB are supported. Activation and firmware updates use DJI Mimo on a compatible smartphone, connecting through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. USB-C allows file transfer to a computer or use as a webcam. DJI Pocket 3 is not waterproof and has an operating temperature range of 0–40 °C.
