RadioMaster Nomad Dual – Premium Dual-Band ExpressLRS Transmitter Module for Professional FPV Pilots
The RadioMaster Nomad Dual is a next-generation external ExpressLRS (ELRS) transmitter module that combines both 2.4 GHz and 868/900 MHz radio frequencies into a single device. Powered by two third-generation Semtech LR1121 RF transceivers, the module supports the innovative Gemini Xrossband technology, allowing control signals to be transmitted simultaneously on both frequency bands. The result is significantly improved link reliability, reduced packet loss, and greater resistance to radio interference, especially in demanding flying environments.
The RadioMaster Nomad Dual is designed for pilots who demand maximum reliability for freestyle, long-range, cinematic, and professional FPV flights. The module is compatible with both standard 2.4 GHz and 868/900 MHz ExpressLRS receivers, while also supporting the latest dual-band Gemini receivers, offering exceptional flexibility for a wide variety of drones and flying styles.
Gemini Xrossband – Dual-Band Transmission at the Same Time
The biggest advantage of the RadioMaster Nomad Dual is its Gemini Xrossband technology. Unlike conventional ELRS transmitter modules, pilots no longer need to choose a single operating frequency. Instead, the module transmits control packets simultaneously over both 2.4 GHz and 868/900 MHz. If interference affects one frequency band or signal quality begins to degrade, the control link remains active on the other frequency, dramatically reducing the risk of losing connection with the aircraft.
This dual-band approach is especially valuable in environments with heavy RF congestion, at racing events, and during long-range flights where maintaining a stable control link is critical.
Dual 1 W RF Transmitters for Maximum Reliability
The module incorporates two independent 1000 mW (1 W) RF transmitters operating simultaneously to deliver exceptionally strong and reliable signal coverage. In addition to its high transmission power, the RadioMaster Nomad Dual features an efficient cooling system that helps maintain optimal operating temperatures during extended flying sessions and high-power operation.
Thanks to its powerful RF architecture, dual-transmitter design, and Gemini technology, the module provides a stable control link even in situations where conventional transmitter modules may become susceptible to interference.
Broad Compatibility with the ExpressLRS Ecosystem
The RadioMaster Nomad Dual is fully compatible with the existing ExpressLRS ecosystem. It works seamlessly with traditional 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz ELRS receivers, while also supporting the latest dual-band Gemini receivers. The included Micro and Nano module adapters allow the Nomad Dual to be used with most modern RadioMaster transmitters as well as compatible radios from other manufacturers.
The module also features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, making firmware updates and ExpressLRS configuration fast and convenient without requiring additional hardware.
Designed for Demanding FPV Applications
The RadioMaster Nomad Dual is an excellent choice for pilots who regularly fly in challenging RF environments or simply want the highest possible level of connection reliability. Simultaneous dual-band transmission minimizes packet loss caused by interference and ensures smooth, dependable control even in areas with heavily congested radio spectrum.
This makes the Nomad Dual an ideal solution for FPV racers, freestyle pilots, cinematic filmmakers, and long-range enthusiasts who consider a reliable control link to be the most critical part of every flight.
