VIFLY StoreSafe (type XT30)
is a smart and compact LiPo battery discharger designed to bring LiPo batteries to a safe storage voltage without the need to constantly monitor settings or process. Its main aim is to extend the life of LiPo batteries and reduce the risks associated with keeping LiPo batteries fully charged for long periods – high voltage can accelerate battery ageing and increase the likelihood of safety problems. Vifly StoreSafe connects directly to the battery via the XT30 socket and the device automatically detects the cell count of the battery (2S to 6S), starting to discharge to the correct storage voltage without the user having to select separate settings.
Device uses an intelligent algorithm with a built-in temperature sensor and a passive cooling fan to help adjust the discharge rate according to the battery voltage and the temperature level of the device. This solution ensures maximum safety and prevents the device from overheating, even during prolonged operation. When the battery reaches a pre-set storage voltage level (around 3.85 V per cell), StoreSafe automatically stops discharging and enters ultra-low leakage mode, so the device can be left connected to the battery for extended periods without over-draining the battery.
XT30 version of the VIFLY StoreSafe is particularly lightweight and small (around 5 g and measuring around 32 × 15 × 10 mm), making it a practical accessory for any FPV and drone enthusiast who wants a simple and reliable way to manage LiPo batteries. Its operating voltage ranges from around 7.9 V to 26 V, its discharge power is around 1 W and it is suitable for use with 2-6S LiPo batteries.
