FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC – powerful four-channel charging station for LiPo and LiHV batteries
FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC is a professional four-channel balance charger designed for fast, precise and organised charging of large numbers of LiPo and LiHV batteries. It can simultaneously charge, discharge or bring up to four 1–8S batteries to storage voltage, making it ideal for FPV pilots, drone teams, competition organisers, rental companies and other users who need to process multiple high-capacity batteries in succession.
Q8AC combines up to 2200 W of input power, high charging current, a capable balancing system and two bright IPS displays. Its robust pull-out case design with integrated storage compartments creates a complete charging station that is convenient to use in a workshop, at a competition venue or at an outdoor charging area.
Simultaneous charging of four batteries
One of FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC’s key advantages is its ability to operate four independent charging channels simultaneously. In asynchronous mode, each channel can use separate settings, allowing batteries with different cell counts, capacities or chemistries to be connected to the charger. Each channel provides up to 500 W of charging power and up to 20 A of charging current, while total system input power can reach 2200 W.
For large batteries or packs requiring high charging current, two channels can be combined in synchronous mode. In this configuration, channel output is combined to charge a single battery, providing up to 1000 W of charging power and a maximum charging current of 40 A. Two channel pairs allow two larger batteries to be charged simultaneously in synchronous mode. Charger automatically distributes available input power, helping maximise system performance according to connected batteries and selected operating mode.
Charging, discharging and storage mode for LiPo and LiHV batteries
FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC supports 1–8S LiPo and LiHV batteries. Standard fully charged cell voltage is 4.20 V for LiPo batteries and 4.35 V for LiHV batteries. Charger allows users to select an operating mode and end voltage appropriate for each battery type, ensuring that charging parameters match characteristics of the connected battery.
In addition to conventional charging, Q8AC can be used for controlled battery discharging and bringing batteries to storage voltage. Storage mode is particularly useful when LiPo or LiHV batteries will not be used for an extended period, as a suitable storage voltage helps reduce cell ageing and preserve battery performance. In asynchronous mode, each channel provides up to 30 W of discharge power and a discharge current of up to 3 A. In synchronous mode, each combined channel pair offers up to 60 W of discharge power and up to 6 A of current.
Fast and precise cell balancing
When charging a multi-cell lithium battery, it is important for all cells to reach as uniform a voltage as possible. Q8AC provides up to 2000 mA of balancing current and supports balancing for 2–8S batteries. High balancing current helps reduce voltage differences between cells and makes balancing high-capacity batteries more efficient.
Charging accuracy is better than 0.01 V. Display allows users to monitor voltage of each connected cell and identify which cell is currently being balanced. To use balancing function, battery must be connected to both main charging port and corresponding balance port. Connecting only the main power connector does not allow charger to balance individual cell voltages.
Clear monitoring with two IPS displays
FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC features two 2.8-inch IPS LCD displays with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels. Bright and clear screens make charging progress easy to monitor, even in a well-lit workspace. User interface allows battery type, operating mode and charging current to be selected, as well as operation of each channel to be started or stopped.
During charging, device displays input voltage, energy consumption, internal temperature, charging-port voltage and current, operating time and capacity delivered to the battery. Individual cell voltages, battery internal resistance and channel status can also be viewed. Battery internal resistance measurement range is 1–100 mΩ, while supported cell-voltage range is 1.0–5.0 V. This information helps assess battery condition and identify differences developing between individual cells.
Sequential charging and synchronised channels
Q8AC includes a continuous-operation function that makes charging several identical batteries in succession more convenient. When a fully charged battery is removed and replaced with another one, charger can automatically continue using settings applied to previous battery. This is particularly useful when charging a larger set of FPV batteries. However, users should always verify that detected cell count matches actual battery whenever a new pack is connected.
Left and right channel groups can also be used in cascaded synchronisation mode. One side is designated as master, while the other automatically follows its battery parameters. This allows settings across multiple channels to be synchronised more quickly and reduces need for repeated manual configuration.
Adjustable safety parameters
FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC allows several charging safety limits to be configured. Users can set maximum permitted internal charger temperature, external temperature sensor limit, maximum operating time and maximum capacity delivered during charging. If a configured limit is exceeded, device stops operating and issues a warning.
An on-screen notification and audible signal indicate when charging is complete or an error occurs. Built-in fan uses stepless speed control and increases its speed as device temperature or operating load rises. Under lighter loads, slower fan operation helps reduce noise produced by charging station.
LiPo and LiHV batteries must always be charged at a current approved by battery manufacturer and in a fire-resistant, well-ventilated area. Charging must never be left unattended. Battery type, cell count, polarity and condition of all connections should be checked before operation begins.
Built-in 65 W USB-C fast charging
In addition to charging drone batteries, Q8AC can be used as a USB-C power source. Built-in USB-C output delivers up to 65 W of charging power and supports several common fast-charging protocols, including PD, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP and VOC. It can be used to charge a smartphone, tablet, remote controller or another compatible USB-C device. USB connection is also used to update charger firmware via a computer.
Robust charging station for larger battery collections
FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC operates from a 100–240 V AC power supply, eliminating need for a separate external DC power supply during normal use. Device measures 600 × 385 × 255 mm and weighs approximately 12.6 kg. This is not a small portable pocket charger, but a high-performance charging station with two storage compartments for batteries or essential accessories.
With four independent channels, up to 40 A synchronous charging, 2000 mA balancing current, automatic power distribution and comprehensive monitoring information, FlyCore LiPo Charger Q8AC is ideal for users who need a reliable solution for managing large numbers of 1–8S LiPo and LiHV batteries. It can charge, balance, discharge and bring batteries to storage voltage from a single device, delivering power suitable for both everyday FPV flying and intensive professional use.
