BetaFPV Pavo Pico II – compact PNP ELRS 2.4G FPV drone
BetaFPV Pavo Pico II Brushless Whoop Quadcopter PNP ELRS 2.4G is a cinewhoop drone with brushless motors and guards surrounding its propellers. It provides a platform for building a compact digital FPV setup with your choice of a compatible DJI O4-series video system. This PNP version includes an ELRS 2.4 GHz receiver, but no camera or video transmitter.
Compact frame and serviceable construction
The black Pavo Pico II frame has an 80 mm wheelbase, and PNP weight is 39.1 g without a battery or video system. Propeller guards form part of the frame structure. A reinforced injection-moulded frame, embedded nuts and a four-screw main attachment create a rigid assembly. Three guided mounting points help align the carbon plate during installation.
DJI O4-series compatibility and vibration damping
The carbon plate supports DJI O4 Air Unit, O4 Wide Air Unit and O4 Air Unit Pro installation. Included mounting parts comprise upper and lower plates for O4 Air Unit Bracket II and a separate O4 Air Unit Pro bracket. This allows the mounting arrangement to match your chosen video system.
O4 Air Unit Bracket II uses four soft shock absorbers, while four screws secure the camera. This damping arrangement helps reduce vibration reaching the camera and the resulting image distortion known as jello. Recording quality, video transmission and FPV goggle compatibility depend on the Air Unit installed separately.
Brushless propulsion and integrated flight electronics
LAVA 1102 14000KV motors drive Gemfan 45 mm three-blade propellers. Motors connect through JST1.25-3Pin plugs. An F4 2-3S 20A AIO flight controller combines flight control and 20 A electronic speed controllers on one board. Dual BEC circuits provide a 9 V / 2 A output for an HD video transmitter and a 5 V / 3 A output for external devices. A six-pin HD VTX connector is provided for video system connection.

Battery and flight time
The drone uses an XT30 battery connector and has a 16 × 12.7 mm battery slot. Manufacturer-recommended batteries include LAVA 2S 450 mAh and 550 mAh models. The 2-3S designation in the flight controller name does not mean this complete drone should be powered by a 3S battery: its recommended battery configuration is 2S.
With a LAVA 2S 550 mAh battery, the manufacturer lists flight times of 6 minutes 30 seconds for a DJI O4 configuration, 6 minutes 10 seconds with O4 Wide and 5 minutes 40 seconds with O4 Pro. These figures apply to a drone equipped with the respective video system; actual flight time depends on configuration and flying conditions.
What is required for use?
FPV flight requires a separately purchased supported DJI video system, compatible FPV goggles, an ELRS 2.4 GHz radio transmitter, a suitable 2S battery and a charger. Before use, install the video system, bind the transmitter to the receiver and configure the drone. Included mounting hardware, adapters, antennas and tools support assembly and maintenance.
