BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II – High-Performance FPV Micro Drone with DJI O4 Wide Video System
BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II is a whoop-style FPV micro drone with an 80 mm wheelbase, combining a DJI O4 Wide digital video system, 1102 Freestyle brushless motors, and an ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz control link. Its design with propeller guards is suitable for indoor and outdoor flying, practising precise manoeuvres, and freestyle flight.
The ELRS (with O4 Wide) version includes a pre-installed DJI O4 Wide camera and video transmission module. Compatible FPV goggles allow you to view the drone’s camera feed, while the video system records detailed flight footage.
DJI O4 Wide – Wide Field of View and 4K Video Recording
The DJI O4 Wide video system offers a 159° field of view and up to 4K/60 fps video recording. The wide viewing angle improves awareness of the drone’s surroundings and captures dynamic footage showing more of the environment.
Digital video transmission latency can be as low as 20 milliseconds under suitable conditions. Low latency supports quick reactions based on the camera feed, which is important when navigating turns, avoiding obstacles, and manoeuvring through narrow spaces.
Canopy II and Camera Vibration Damping
The camera is protected by a Canopy II for O4 Air Unit cover, whose mounting system uses four vibration dampers to help reduce vibration transmitted from the frame to the camera. This reduces the likelihood of vibration-induced image distortion, commonly known as the jello effect, and supports smoother footage.
Camera tilt can be adjusted from 15° to 35° to suit your flying style. A lower angle suits relaxed flying, while a higher angle helps maintain a forward view during faster flight when the drone tilts further forward.
A four-screw camera mount helps maintain the selected position during manoeuvres. The removable cover simplifies access to the camera and mounts, making maintenance and vibration damper checks more convenient. Motors, propellers, and mounts must also be in good condition to achieve the best image quality.
1102 Freestyle Motors and 45 mm Propellers
The propulsion system of BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II features 1102 Freestyle brushless motors (2026) with a speed constant of 21,000 KV. Paired with Gemfan 1811 three-blade 45 mm propellers, they provide smooth throttle response and precise thrust control.
The improved motor winding design supports more efficient energy use. An updated rotor housing and reinforced shaft help withstand impacts during practice. This propulsion system is suitable for maintaining smooth flight paths as well as repeated acceleration and changes of direction.
The motor shaft diameter is 1.5 mm. When selecting replacement propellers, check both the propeller diameter and mounting hole size to ensure a secure fit and unobstructed rotation.
Lightweight and Durable 80 mm Frame
The polypropylene frame of BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II weighs 5.8 grams, approximately 25% less than the previous Meteor75 Pro frame, which weighed 7.73 grams. Lower frame weight helps reduce overall drone weight while maintaining the durability needed for everyday flying.
The number of frame braces has been reduced from six to five, while the curved shape of the propeller guards has been refined to reduce air resistance. The guard rings measure 47 mm in diameter and 4.8 mm in height. The structure surrounding the propellers is particularly useful when practising in confined spaces.
The frame has an 80 mm wheelbase and overall dimensions of 108.5 × 108.5 × 16.2 mm. Its compact design makes the drone easy to carry and allows practice in smaller flying areas.
Matrix 1S 3IN1 HD Flight Controller
At the heart of the drone’s electronics is the Matrix 1S 3IN1 HD flight controller, which combines a flight controller, electronic speed controllers, and an ExpressLRS receiver on a single board. This integrated design reduces the need for separate components and connecting wires.
An STM32G473 processor runs at 168 MHz and supports Betaflight control functions and flight tuning. The electronic speed controllers support 12 A continuous current and up to 18 A peak current. A 5 V / 3 A voltage regulator supplies power to the digital video system.
Motor connectors and an SH1.0-6Pin digital video port simplify the replacement and maintenance of compatible components. The 3IN1 HD version of the controller is designed for digital FPV systems.
ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz Control Link
The integrated ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz receiver allows the drone to be controlled using a compatible ELRS radio transmitter or transmitter module. The serial receiver communicates with the flight controller via the CRSF protocol, and its firmware can be updated independently of the flight controller firmware.
ELRS transmits control commands, while DJI O4 Wide transmits the camera feed. During setup, bind the drone to a suitable ELRS radio transmitter and link the video system to compatible DJI FPV goggles. Betaflight settings allow control response to be adapted to the pilot’s experience and preferred flying style.
1S Battery System and Up to Six Minutes of Flight Time
According to the manufacturer’s measurements, BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II offers approximately five minutes of flight time with a LAVA II 1S 580 mAh battery and up to six minutes with a 680 mAh battery. Actual results depend on flying style, battery condition, and operating conditions.
The drone uses a BT2.0 battery connector, and the battery slot measures 16.1 × 6.3 mm. Recommended batteries include LAVA II 1S models in 480, 580, and 680 mAh capacities. A higher-capacity battery allows longer flight sessions but also adds weight and affects flight feel.

The package includes the drone with a DJI O4 Wide video system, four spare Gemfan 1811 propellers, two vibration dampers, a USB-C to SH1.0 adapter, a connecting cable, screws, and a DJI O4 user manual. A flight battery, charger, ELRS radio transmitter, and compatible FPV goggles must be purchased separately.
Before the first flight, check that the control channels operate correctly, the propellers are properly installed, the camera is securely mounted, and the video system is connected.
