13,070.00 €
DJI Dock 3 is an industrial “drone-in-a-box” solution for Matrice 4D/4TD drones, providing 24/7 autonomous flight and charging.
This is the first Dock that can also be mounted on a vehicle.
The IP56 class protects against dust and water, with operating temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +50 °C and a video transmission range of up to 10 km (up to 25 km with DNS relay if required).
The dock integrates with the DJI FlightHub 2 platform, automating mission planning and reducing labour costs.
DJI Dock 3 – Autonomous drone station for the Matrice 4D and 4TD series series
DJI Dock 3 is an advanced autonomous drone station designed to work with high-performance Matrice 4D or 4TD drones. It is a professional drone-in-a-box solution that enables 24/7 automated take-off, landing, loading and mission management without the need for a constant on-site operator. Dock 3 is designed for organisations that require a reliable, weatherproof and scalable system for critical infrastructure, security or surveillance missions.
High environmental performance
DJI Dock 3 is built to work in demanding conditions. The dock housing is IP56 rated, while compatible drones (Matrice 4D and 4TD) have an IP55 rating. The system operates in a temperature range of -30°C to +50°C, with pre-heating if required, ensuring reliability in cold and humid conditions.
Wind resistance of up to 12 m/s allows stable flight in open terrain and at higher altitudes. This durability makes the Dock 3 the ideal choice for northern European climates and areas where weather conditions can change rapidly.
Vehicle installation
One of the most distinctive features of the DJI Dock 3 is the ability to mount the station in a mobile vehicle. This gives operational units – such as rescue and security services – the flexibility to respond quickly to different locations.
The vehicle-based solution is particularly well suited for emergency rescue operations, assessing disaster areas or inspecting remote sites where a fixed installation is not practical. It creates a whole new level of mobility and operational readiness.
Video transmission coverage and communication
Communication between DJI Dock 3 and the drone can reach up to 10 km. If the D-RTK 3 relay unit is used on a higher platform, the maximum communication range can reach up to 25 km, depending on the environment and the configuration.
Stable communication ensures smooth video and data transmission, which is essential for real-time decision-making and documentation. The solution is optimised for professional use in urban environments, industrial areas and open landscapes.
Automation and cloud management
DJI Dock 3 is tightly integrated with the DJI FlightHub 2 system, allowing you to plan flight paths, manage missions and monitor operations in real time. Users can set automatic patrol routes, configure alerts and analyse collected data in the cloud environment.
Automated workflow reduces human error and ensures consistent data quality. The system supports centralised management, allowing multiple Dock 3 stations to be managed from a single control environment. This makes the solution the right choice for pilot projects as well as large-scale deployments.
Compatible drones and their capabilities
DJI Dock 3 works with Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD drones. Both models offer up to 47 minutes of hover flight time, a 4/3-inch wide-angle sensor and up to 48 MP telephoto cameras for detailed zooming.
Matrice 4TD version adds an infrared thermal imaging camera to the system, allowing it to operate in dark or low visibility conditions. In addition, the drones have low noise levels and anti-freeze propellers to support operation in cold weather conditions.
Technical data
DJI Dock 3 weighs around 55 kg and measures approximately 1760 × 745 × 485 mm when open. It has an input power supply of 100-240 V AC, which allows installation in a variety of electrical systems.
The dock allows fast charging of the drone – from 15% to 95% battery charge in around 27 minutes. This ensures short breaks between missions and increases the system’s overall performance.
Practical value and uses
With its robustness, flexible installation and advanced automation, DJI Dock 3 is ideal for:
-
rescue and security units
-
inspecting the energy sector and electricity networks
-
infrastructure monitoring
-
security monitoring of industrial and logistics centres
-
agricultural monitoring solutions
In practice, this solution means faster response times and less reliance on local human resources. Autonomous workflow allows critical situations to be responded to in minutes and supports regular monitoring without complex logistics or the need for a permanent operator presence.
Centralised management and clear scalability provide a solid basis for data-driven decision-making. The system helps to prevent failures, increase operational safety and standardise the use of drones across teams and locations. In the longer term, DJI Dock 3 supports cost optimisation, increases operational readiness and allows the organisation to focus on strategic management rather than technical execution.
