Rise above logistical constraints with the DJI FlyCart 30
A new drone has arrived to revolutionise freight transport, overcoming traditional logistical constraints and offering a safe, cost-effective and seamless air transport solution.
A long-range, heavyweight aircraft equipped with powerful signal reception and advanced intelligence features, the DJI FlyCart 30 supports both cargo and winch modes.
Transport of heavy loads over long distances
The DJI FlyCart 30 is designed to carry heavy loads and cover long distances with remarkable efficiency.
With a maximum payload of 30 kg in dual battery mode and 40 kg in single battery mode, this drone is the industry’s outstanding heavyweight.
The drone has an impressive range of 28 km unladen and maintains a remarkable 16 km range even when flying at full load. With a maximum speed of 20 m/s, it ensures fast and on-time delivery.
Operates in extreme conditions
This delivery drone is designed to operate in extreme conditions. It is capable of flying at altitudes of up to 6,000 metres and operating in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 45°C, ensuring reliability in a variety of environments.
In addition, its wind resistance of up to 12 m/s confirms that the drone is capable of delivering goods in harsh weather conditions, making it a reliable choice in a wide range of challenging environments.
Strong connectivity
The outstanding feature of the DJI FlyCart 30 is its 20 km video transmission range with O3 technology. 4G advanced video transmission further enhances connectivity and reliability, enabling real-time tracking and control.
The dual operator mode adds flexibility to the drone’s deployment, enabling collaborative control and more precise handling. In addition, the drone features a high-definition FPV stabilized camera for clarity when navigating and tracking.
Advanced safety and intelligent features
This delivery drone is equipped with front- and rear-mounted phased-array radars and a dual-binocular vision system for intelligent multi-directional obstacle detection. The drone also has a built-in ADS-B signal receiver that enhances safety by detecting and providing warning of nearby manned aircraft.
For safe take-off and landing, the drone uses a 6-second propeller rotation delay and an additional latching phase on landing. The integration of an RTK module improves the accuracy of centimetre-level positioning.
In case of emergency, the integrated parachutes can be activated even at low altitudes, ensuring a stable landing of the drone and minimising potential risks to people and property. The propellers stop rotating before the parachute deploys.
The parachute alarm system performs an automatic self-check during start-up, operates on an independent power supply and includes both an audible and a visual alarm.
Flexible freight configurations
The delivery of the goods will be made either in freight mode or in winch mode, depending on the destination requirements.
In cargo mode, weight and centre of gravity detection ensures a balanced load for safe and stable flight. Winch delivery is achieved by means of a built-in rope, which can be operated manually or automatically. The load is automatically released on landing, eliminating the need for manual attachment and ensuring a safe and accurate delivery process.
All-in-one solution for air transport
Software such as DJI Pilot 2 and DJI DeliveryHub provide a powerful, efficient and flexible all-in-one solution for managing drone delivery.
DJI Pilot 2 simplifies delivery operations by displaying real-time flight status, cargo status and other interactive interfaces. You can check battery levels, power status and distance travelled in real time, and monitor the ability to reach your destination for operational safety.
Intelligent features such as delivery mode, cruise control, real-time ground detection, AR projection and route recording are available for efficient operations.
DJI DeliveryHub is a comprehensive platform for airlift management, providing seamless operational planning, comprehensive operational status monitoring, centralized management of crew resources, and data collection and analysis to improve efficiency.
How the DJI FlyCart 30 helps solve problems
- Reduced delivery costs – The last mile, or delivery from the distribution point to the final destination, is often the most expensive and logistically complex part of the process. Delivery by drone can reduce costs associated with traditional delivery methods, such as fuel, labour and vehicle maintenance. Drones can efficiently cover short distances and deliver parcels to remote or inaccessible areas.
- Dangerous operations – Drones allow access to rural or remote areas where traditional delivery services find it difficult or dangerous to reach. This extends the reach of vital services and e-commerce, improving the quality of life of the people living there.
- Faster delivery times – Delivery drones fly at average speeds of 30 to 60 miles per hour, allowing them to deliver essential supplies quickly to disaster areas and remote, hard-to-reach locations. In urban areas, delivery by air can help reduce traffic congestion. Drones have delivered vaccines and medicines to more than 2,000 hospitals in hard-to-reach areas in Ghana, Rwanda and the US. Delivery by drone is up to 7 times faster than traditional delivery by car.
- Lower carbon emissions – Electric drones can be more environmentally friendly than traditional delivery vehicles by reducing carbon emissions. Drones typically use rechargeable batteries that allow for greater efficiency. Often drones can significantly reduce carbon emissions.
