Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Carry Case – Dedicated Protective Carrying Case for a 360-Degree Camera
1-Inch 360 carry case, officially known as Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Carry Case, is a protective carrying case designed specifically for storing and transporting the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition camera. Its carefully considered construction helps keep the camera and a spare battery organised in one place while reducing the risk of scratches and minor mechanical damage during normal transportation. It is a practical accessory for photographers, videographers, virtual tour creators and content creators who want to carry their 360-degree camera equipment conveniently and more securely.
The carrying case is designed specifically to accommodate the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition camera and one spare battery. The camera compartment is adapted to the model’s vertical construction, allowing equipment to be stored conveniently and kept ready for the next shoot.
Unlike universal camera bags, 1-Inch 360 carry case is developed with the requirements of a particular camera model in mind. This makes it suitable for everyday storage, travelling and more professional filming projects.
Protection Designed Specifically for the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition
The Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition is a powerful 360-degree camera featuring an optical system developed in collaboration with Leica. The camera uses two 1-inch CMOS image sensors, enabling detailed 6K 360-degree video recording and 360-degree photographs with a resolution of up to 21 megapixels.
This camera system is suitable for both creative content production and more professional applications, including virtual tours, real estate videos and capturing spatial environments.
The camera’s two opposing lenses capture the entire surrounding environment, but their protruding optical elements require special care during storage and transportation.
1-Inch 360 carry case helps protect the camera in situations where it needs to be transported frequently, removed from a bag or stored alongside other equipment.
The specially designed camera compartment helps reduce accidental movement and contact with other items being carried.
Space for the Camera and One Spare Battery
One of the main features of 1-Inch 360 carry case is its ability to store both the camera and a spare battery in one place.
The Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition uses a dedicated vertical battery module adapted to the camera’s construction. According to the camera’s technical specifications, the battery has a capacity of 1350 mAh, providing up to approximately 62 minutes of 6K 360-degree video recording under the manufacturer’s laboratory testing conditions.
Carrying a spare battery is a practical solution for longer filming days, as it helps reduce the need to interrupt recording for extended charging breaks.
Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Carry Case includes a dedicated compartment for one spare battery, allowing an essential power reserve to be stored alongside the camera.
This storage arrangement is useful when travelling, filming real estate properties, creating virtual tours and working in other situations where recording takes place at multiple locations.
The camera and spare battery are not included with the carrying case and must be purchased separately if required.
Protecting the Lenses of a Camera with Two 1-Inch Sensors
One of the most important advantages of the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition is its optical system featuring two 1-inch image sensors.
The larger sensors help capture more light, improving image quality in challenging lighting conditions and enabling greater detail and dynamic range.
The camera’s lenses are positioned on opposite sides of the body to record a complete 360-degree field of view.
With this type of construction, protecting the lenses is particularly important because scratches or other damage to optical surfaces can affect the quality of the entire recording.
1-Inch 360 carry case provides additional protection during storage and transportation. However, the manufacturer emphasises that the standard Lens Cap must always be attached before placing the camera inside the carrying case.
The lens cap helps reduce the risk of direct contact between the lenses and the case’s interior surfaces or any foreign particles.
Using the protective case together with the lens cap is therefore an important part of proper camera storage.
Designed for the Camera’s Vertical Construction
The Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition differs from several other ONE RS camera configurations because of its vertical construction.
The camera uses the 1-Inch 360 lens module, the ONE RS Core and a dedicated vertical battery module. Together, these components form a complete 360-degree camera system.
The camera measures approximately 53.2 × 129.3 × 49.5 mm and weighs around 239 grams.
1-Inch 360 carry case is designed specifically to accommodate this taller, vertically assembled camera body.
This is an important difference compared with conventional ONE R and ONE RS carrying cases, which may be intended for horizontally assembled camera modules.
The specially adapted compartment helps keep the camera correctly positioned and makes inserting and removing it more convenient.
Additional Protection During Transportation and Everyday Use
Camera equipment may be exposed to various mechanical stresses during transportation, including bumps, friction and accidental pressure.
1-Inch 360 carry case is designed to help protect the camera against these common risks.
A dedicated protective carrying case reduces direct contact between the camera and other items inside a bag, such as chargers, cables, mounting accessories or other electronic devices.
This is particularly useful when travelling and filming actively, as the camera often needs to be moved between locations.
The carrying case also helps keep the camera and spare battery in a designated place, reducing the possibility of smaller accessories becoming lost among other equipment.
However, it is important to remember that a protective carrying case does not make the camera completely shockproof and cannot guarantee protection against strong impacts, crushing forces or falls from significant heights.
Convenient for Travelling and Outdoor Filming
Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Carry Case is suitable for users who frequently take their 360-degree camera on trips or to different filming locations.
A 360-degree camera can be used to capture landscapes, urban environments, tourist attractions, architecture and other visually interesting locations.
In these situations, it is important that the camera remains protected during transportation and is quickly accessible when needed.
1-Inch 360 carry case helps keep essential equipment organised in one place, reducing the time spent packing and searching for necessary devices.
The case can be carried inside a larger backpack or travel bag, allowing the camera to be separated from other belongings.
This makes it a practical solution for both short outings and longer trips where the camera is used regularly.
Suitable for Virtual Tour and Real Estate Video Creators
Thanks to its optical system featuring two 1-inch sensors, the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition is a suitable camera for capturing spatial environments.
It can be used to document real estate properties, hotels, commercial premises, exhibition spaces and other environments in 360 degrees.
During such projects, videographers often move between several rooms or locations and need to repeatedly set up, remove and transport their cameras.
1-Inch 360 carry case helps keep the camera and spare battery organised and makes carrying them more convenient.
Having a dedicated storage space allows the camera to be protected more easily between shots and reduces the need to place it loosely alongside other work equipment.
This makes the carrying case a practical accessory in professional workflows.
Organised Storage at Home and in the Studio
A carrying case is useful not only when travelling.
1-Inch 360 carry case is also suitable for everyday storage of the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition camera at home, in an office or in a studio.
Keeping the camera and spare battery in a designated place helps avoid situations where equipment is left on desks, in drawers or among other accessories.
Organised storage makes equipment easier to locate and helps users check whether the camera and essential power reserve are available before the next filming session.
This is particularly useful for people who regularly use their 360-degree camera and want to keep their equipment ready for use.
Compatibility with the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition
1-Inch 360 carry case is designed specifically for the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition camera.
The manufacturer’s official compatibility information identifies the ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition as the supported camera model.
Therefore, the carrying case should not be considered a universal storage solution for all Insta360 ONE R or ONE RS cameras.
For example, the ONE RS Twin Edition and other configurations using a horizontal battery module differ from the 1-Inch 360 Edition in their dimensions and construction.
Likewise, this carrying case is not intended for Insta360 X-series, GO-series or other differently shaped cameras.
For the best fit, it is recommended to use the case with the camera model specified by the manufacturer.
Is the 1-Inch 360 Carry Case Waterproof?
1-Inch 360 carry case is primarily a protective accessory intended for camera storage and transportation.
The manufacturer does not specify an IP waterproof protection rating for this carrying case.
Therefore, users should not assume that the case will protect the camera inside against heavy rain, immersion in water or prolonged exposure to moisture.
Although the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition camera itself has an IPX3 splash-resistance rating when correctly assembled, this does not mean that the carrying case is waterproof.
Additional moisture protection should be used in wet conditions, and the camera should not be stored in a wet case.
