Three Nanlite Halo circular luminaires are available in our shop: the Halo 14, the Halo 16 and the largest model is the Halo 18.
All Nanlite Halo circular luminaires are two-tone, which means you can choose between warm tones (similar to indoor lamps) and cool tones (to match natural light outdoors). This makes it possible to match the artificial light to the ambient real light both indoors and outdoors. The luminous intensities of all models can be varied smoothly from 0-100% and the colour temperature from 2700-6500K.
The Nanlite Halo round headlamps also include a smartphone clip and mirror. The clamp allows you to place your phone in the centre of the ring to take horizontal or vertical photos. The mirror can be used for hairstyling, make-up and preparing for a photo/video session. All Halo ring lights come with a power cable and carrying case. The Halo 14 model also comes with a table tripod. The floor stand must be purchased separately for all models.
Nanlite Halo 14 LED circular luminaire
The Nanlite Halo 14 is the most compact and conveniently portable in the series. The Halo 14’s dimming and colour temperature control knobs are positioned upwards, so you can easily turn them whether you’re in front of or behind the fixture. A USB port for charging your smartphone is included to ensure battery life during long takes and live broadcasts. Halo 14 measures 35.5 cm in diameter and weighs just 650 g.
Nanlite Halo 16 LED circular luminaire
If you want a larger LED ring light that can also be battery powered, the Nanlite Halo 16 is ideal. It can be powered by the included AC adaptor or by a Sony NP-F battery (sold separately). A USB port allows you to charge connected smartphones. The Halo 16 has an external diameter of 40 cm and an internal diameter of 30.5 cm. Weighs approximately 950 g.
Nanlite Halo 18 LED circular luminaire
If you’re looking for the biggest and brightest circular luminaire that delivers Nanlite’s ultra-precise colour temperature, Halo 18 is the only choice. This luminaire has an outer diameter of approximately 46 cm and an inner diameter of 30 cm, which means that the LED ring itself is considerably wider than other circular luminaires in this series. The mirror that comes with the Halo 18 is double-sided, with a 2x zoom mirror on the back for close-ups. The Halo 18 weighs around 1550g.
