Small, light, versatile
DJI Mic 3 is compact, lightweight and discreet. It can be attached with either a magnet or a clip. The removable and rotatable clamp allows the microphone to be flexibly angled – sideways or upside down – to ensure perfect sound recording in any situation.
All-in-one, always ready
Charging case comfortably holds two transmitters and one receiver. Transmitters fit into the case with a windscreen and magnet or magnetic clip – no need to remove them. There’s also space for magnets and audio cable on the lid, so everything is neat and always ready to go.

Up to four transmitters can be connected to DJI Mic 3 receiver at the same time to record four audio sources simultaneously. With the main receiver, you can synchronise audio from up to seven additional receivers. Flexible channel management
Choose mono or stereo mode – record the sound from each transmitter separately, or combine them into a single track, depending on your creative needs.
Four-channel output, easier post-processing
In Quadraphonic mode, DJI Mic 3 receiver – in combination with selected Sony cameras or software – can output four separate audio tracks. This allows for more precise sound separation and mixing, giving you more freedom in post-production.
Two frequencies ensure reliability
DJI Mic 3 automatically jumps between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and provides a range of up to 400 metres. Robust noise immunity keeps the sound stable even in challenging environments such as trade fairs.
Lossless transmission, clean sound
In lossless mode, the transmitter transmits uncompressed 48 kHz 24-bit audio directly to the receiver. Every recording is captured in rich detail and high quality.
Built-in storage
Don’t worry about lost audio – internal recording protects your recording in case of interference or device failure. Two-file recording keeps both the original sound and the algorithm-processed version at the same time, for a smooth workflow and a seamless creative process.
32-bit float internal storage
DJI Mic 3 supports 32-bit float recording, which gives a wide dynamic range. It captures both hushed whispers and loud sounds, making recording reliable in unpredictable environments and offering more flexibility in post-production.
Built-in time code for precise synchronisation
DJI Mic 3 supports high-precision time codes – the transmitter adds the time code directly to the recording and the receiver allows both input and output. Less than one frame shift in 24 hours means you can align multiple cameras in an instant, and editing goes faster.
Easy file export
After your shots, connect the charging case and USB-C cable to your PC or phone – all internal recordings are transferred at once. You can also download your files via the DJI Mimo app to choose the way that’s right for you.

Transmitter works for up to 8 hours, the receiver for up to 10 hours. A fully-charged case will give you around 2.4 extra charges – for a total of up to 28 hours. Ideal for long shooting days and live broadcasts.

Smart energy saving
Automatic power saving: if transmitter does not detect a signal from the receiver, it goes into sleep mode and wakes up again when a connection is detected.
- Auto power off: set receiver or DJI Mimo app to turn off the transmitter and receiver after a certain time. This saves battery power and extends battery life.
- Automatic switch-on with camera: when activated, the receiver will switch on/off with the camera when a connection is established via a 3.5mm cable or a flash ring.
- Use while charging: if the receiver is connected via a phone, it is powered directly from the device. When connected via USB-C, an additional power source charges both the receiver and the phone at the same time – no interruption.
